Located on the first floor, it can accommodate up to four persons (possible 5 with additional bed) and consists of two independent rooms – 27 m2 and 9 m2 – with a large bathroom – bath and shower-, and separate toilet.
In the main room, there is a double bed 180×210 – or twin beds 90×210 –, a lounge area with a marble fireplace and a desk.
In the other room, there are twin beds 80×190 with an office/reading area in front of the garden.

Honoré DE BALZAC – 1799-1850 – stayed mny times at the Château de Saché – 32 km away from La Dixmeresse – between 1825 and 1848. He drew a lot his inspiration from this castle and its setting, the Loire, for his novel “Lily of the Valley”, whose plot takes place in the heart of the Indre valley. About ten other works have been written there, including “The Human Comedy” or “Old Goriot”.
